I have to admit that while I liked the impact of the thumbnail version, I'm unimpressed with the fullview of this image. The composition is very bland in my opinion, without much real interest except for the blown-out highlight on the chair. The focus also seems almost backward to me, like my eye is supposed to be more drawn to the shadow on the wall than the actual chair. I'd completely re-shoot this image, possibly with a full-on shot of the chair centred in a wide angle frame, and with more light to really intensify the shadows. With the current composition, I find the chair to seem cluttered - it's hard to distinguish between the arms, the slats, and even the shadow. With a frontal shot of the chair, you'd have more clearly defined regions, which would add depth and texture to the image, creating much more impact and intrigue for the viewer.
This picture is really awesome Joe, great lighting, and great angle, it makes the chair seem like you are looking at it from a childs perspective which totally makes sense with the description. Once again, the lighting is perfect and the shadow adds kind of a lonely feeling. Keep up the great work
